Compact Operators on the Sets of Fractional Difference Sequences
The sets of fractional difference sequences have been studied in the literature recently. In this work, some identities or estimates for the operator norms and the measure of noncompactness of certain operators on difference sets of sequences of ...

Limit sets of automatic sequences
The authors study the limit sets of multidimensional automatic sequences. For a finite set with a distinguished element \(s_0\), consider an \(\ell\)-dimensional sequence \(f\) in \(S^{\mathbb{N}^\ell}\). A sequence \((t_n)\in\mathbb{N}^{\mathbb{N}}\) is a scaling sequence, if \(({1\over t_n} X(f,t_n))\) is a Cauchy sequence with respect to the ...

On the Independent Set Sequence of a Tree [PDF]
Alavi, Malde, Schwenk and Erdős asked whether the independent set sequence of every tree is unimodal. Here we make some observations about this question. We show that for the uniformly random (labelled) tree, asymptotically almost surely (a.a.s.) the initial approximately 49.5% of the sequence is increasing while the terminal approximately 38.8% is ...

Sequential behavior such as sending emails, gathering in groups, tagging posts, or authoring academic papers may be characterized by a set of recipients, attendees, tags, or coauthors respectively. Such "sequences of sets" show complex repetition behavior, sometimes repeating prior sets wholesale, and sometimes creating new sets from partial copies or ...

ON THE STATISTICAL CONVERGENCE OF NESTED SEQUENCES OF SETS
In this paper, we show that Wijsman convergence and statistical Wijsman convergence are equivalent to each other if we choose the sequences of sets as monotone.

Design of sequences with good correlation properties [PDF]
This thesis is dedicated to exploring sequences with good correlation properties. Periodic sequences with desirable correlation properties have numerous applications in communications. Ideally, one would like to have a set of sequences whose out-of-phase

Sequence-To-Set Generative Models
In this paper, we propose a sequence-to-set method that can transform any sequence generative model based on maximum likelihood to a set generative model where we can evaluate the utility/probability of any set. An efficient importance sampling algorithm is devised to tackle the computational challenge of learning our sequence-to-set model.

New Constructions of Extended Sonar Sequences From Sidon Sets
A $(m,n)$ sonar sequence is an $m\times n$ array with exactly one dot in each column and where all lines connecting two dots in the array are distinct as vectors.

Asymptotically I-Cesaro equivalence of sequences of sets
In this paper, we defined concepts of asymptotically $\mathcal{I}$-Cesaro equivalence and investigate the relationships between the concepts of asymptotically strongly $\mathcal{I}$-Cesaro equivalence, asymptotically strongly $\mathcal{I}$-lacunary ...

Wijsman and Wijsman regularly triple ideal convergence sequences of sets
This paper introduces the notions of IW3-convergence, IW3*-convergence, IW3-Cauchy, IW3*-Cauchy, regularly (IW3,IW)-convergence and regularly (IW3*,IW*)-convergence and investigates the relationship among them.
