Parton helicities at arbitrary x and $$Q^2$$ Q 2 in double-logarithmic approximation

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
Description of spin-dependent hadronic processes at high energies in terms of parton helicities is a both effective and technically convenient means. In the present paper, we obtain explicit expressions for the parton helicities when either collinear or ...

Weyl-Titchmarsh type formula for Hermite operator with small perturbation [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2009
Small perturbations of the Jacobi matrix with weights \(\sqrt{n}\) and zero diagonal are considered. A formula relating the asymptotics of polynomials of the first kind to the spectral density is obtained, which is an analogue of the classical Weyl ...

A New Family of Ternary Intermetallic Compounds with Dualistic Atomic Ordering – The ZIP Phases

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The ZIP phases are ternary intermetallic compounds with dualistic atomic ordering, i.e., they exhibit one face‐centered cubic (fcc; space group Fd3¯$\bar 3$m) variant and one hexagonal (space group P63/mmc) variant. The ZIP phases in the Nb‐Si‐Ni system are the Nb3SiNi2 (fcc) and Ni3SiNb2 (hexagonal) ternary IMCs, crystal structure schematics of which ...

A Limit Relation for Dunkl-Bessel Functions of Type A and B

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2008
We prove a limit relation for the Dunkl-Bessel function of type BN with multiplicity parameters k_1 on the roots ±ei and k_2 on ±e_i±e_j where k_1 tends to infinity and the arguments are suitably scaled.

Quantum random walks in one dimension via generating functions [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science, 2007
We analyze nearest neighbor one-dimensional quantum random walks with arbitrary unitary coin-flip matrices. Using a multivariate generating function analysis we give a simplified proof of a known phenomenon, namely that the walk has linear speed rather ...

Characterization of Complex Stacking of Semiconductors Through Near Field Imaging and Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
SNOM imaging and spectroscopy on a mechanically cleaved facet is used to characterize the different layers of complex epitaxial heterostructures composed of a type II superlattice and highly doped semiconductors. Both the geometrical parameters of the stack and the optical properties of the individual layers and of the interfaces are retrieved, as well

Asymptotic integration of functional differential systems with oscillatory decreasing coefficients: a center manifold approach

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2016
In this paper we study the asymptotic integration problem in the neighborhood of infinity for a certain class of linear functional differential systems. We propose a method for construction of the asymptotics of solutions in the critical case.

A new method for computing asymptotics of diagonal coefficients of multivariate generating functions [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science, 2007
Let $\sum_{\mathbf{n} \in \mathbb{N}^d} F_{\mathbf{n}} \mathbf{x}^{\mathbf{n}}$ be a multivariate generating function that converges in a neighborhood of the origin of $\mathbb{C}^d$. We present a new, multivariate method for computing the asymptotics of

A Soft Microrobot for Single‐Cell Transport, Spheroid Assembly, and Dual‐Mode Drug Screening

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A soft, untethered hydrogel microrobot enables precise single‐cell delivery, self‐assembly into 3D spheroids, and real‐time thermal actuation. Driven by light‐induced convection and embedded with gold nanorods and temperature sensors, the microrobot guides cells, modulates local microenvironments, and supports drug testing.

Colloidal Heterostructures Enable Interfacial Transport of Immiscible Molecules in Printable Organohydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Multiphase printable organohydrogels with tunable microstructures are developed to control molecular transport pathways for immiscible cargo. The tortuosity and domain size of the colloidal phases are tuned by adjusting temperature and shear during processing, which enables the tailoring of diffusion kinetics due to different transport pathways.
