Initial Distance‐Dependent Mean Force Drives Synaptic Vesicle Motion Toward Fusion Sites in Stimulated Hippocampal Neurons

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Synaptic vesicle (SV) motion and exocytosis dynamics in the presynaptic terminals of live neurons are intimately linked to synaptic transmission during neuronal activity. In this work, it is revealed that, during electrical stimulation, SVs located farther from their fusion sites exhibit greater straightness and experience larger mean forces directed ...

Asymptotics of the Solution of the Bisingular Problem for a System of Linear Parabolic Equations. II

open access: yesМоделирование и анализ информационных систем, 2013
Suppose we are given a bisingular initial boundary-value problem for a system of parabolic equations that contains a small parameter ε² at the second derivative and √ ε at the first derivative with respect to the spatial variable. We prove an asymptotics

Engineered GM1 Intersects Between Mitochondrial and Synaptic Pathways to Ameliorate ALS Pathology

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal neurodegenerative disease driven by genetic and molecular disruptions affecting energy balance, protein homeostasis, and stress responses in nerve cells. Studies using human and rodent models identified convergent defects in mitochondria and synaptic function.

Implementation of the Kachanov — Rabotnov creep model with damage in ABAQUS UMAT: analysis of stress and damage fields at the crack tip

open access: yesВестник Самарского университета: Естественнонаучная серия
This study focuses on a finite element analysis of stress, strain, and damage fields near the tip of a central crack in a plate subjected to a tensile load under creep conditions, taking into account the damage accumulation effect.

Asymptotic Primes and Asymptotic Grades on Modules

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 1995
The aim of this paper is to study various questions related to sets of prime ideals associated to powers of an ideal \(I\) of a commutative Noetherian ring with identity \(R\) and a finitely generated \(R\)-module \(M\). In several recent papers (mid '80), \textit{D. Katz}, \textit{S. McAdam}, \textit{J. L.

OPTRACE: Optical Imaging–Guided Transplantation and Tracking of Cells in the Mouse Brain

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
OPTRACE establishes an optical, two‐step platform for intracerebral cell therapy. Transparent glass pipettes enable real‐time, image‐guided delivery, while multiplex genetic labeling with two‐photon and bioluminescence readouts supports longitudinal single‐cell tracking and host–graft dynamics.

Wave‐Partition‐Governed Dual‐Site Spallation in Single Crystals

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Crystalline anisotropy shapes shock‐wave propagation and the resulting damage evolution in single crystals. Large‐scale molecular dynamics and damage modeling uncover a dual‐spallation mechanism driven by anisotropic elasticplastic wave separation, which mitigates damage accumulation.
