Information and Computation, 1987 AbstractThis paper examines the Approximate Agreement Problem in an asynchronous failure-by-omission system with deterministic protocols. We give a simple algorithm, and prove that the algorithm is optimal by considering the power of the "adversary" scheduler to disrupt processors′ views.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Phase‐resolved experiments and atomistic simulations reveal asynchronous ordering behaviors in a eutectic high‐entropy alloy during isothermal annealing. Distinct defect transport mechanisms are identified in coexisting B2 and BCC phases, showing that vacancy and interstitial mediated diffusion governs phase‐dependent thermal stability.
