Spacing Effects in Guided Vertical‐Axis Wind Turbine Arrays for Highway Energy Harvesting Under Multi‐Vehicle Wake Conditions

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
Three‐turbine guided Savonius arrays installed along highway corridors extract up to 697 J under multi‐vehicle wake conditions when spaced 12 rotor diameters apart—68% more than compact arrangements. Guide vanes boost output by 80–120%, and interior turbines respond most strongly to spacing, governing overall array performance. ABSTRACT Highway‐induced

A flexible dual‐gate thin‐film transistor‐based tactile sensor array with polarity‐aware encoding for neuromorphic recognition

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
A flexible piezoelectric tactile sensor array is developed by integrating polyvinylidene fluoride sensing elements with dual‐gate indium‐tin‐zinc oxide thin‐film transistor‐based pixel amplifiers. Direct coupling to the high‐impedance gate minimizes signal loss, enabling twofold voltage amplification and an extended effective relaxation time of ∼4.86 s

3D integration of 2D electronics for AI hardware

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
We demonstrate TSV‐free monolithic 3D integration of MoS2 transistors and WS2 memristors into a 1T1R architecture, achieving reproducible switching, synaptic functions and ultra‐dense integration. This platform reduces latency and energy cost while enabling in‐memory and neuromorphic computing, positioning 2D‐material‐based M3D electronics as a ...
