We present velocity-resolved maps taken with the Wisconsin H-Alpha Mapper (WHAM) in H{\alpha}, [S II] {\lambda}6716, and [N II] {\lambda}6583 around the well-known O8 III star {\lambda} Ori A (HD 36861) (l = 185{\deg} to 205{\deg}, b = -24{\deg} to -1 ...

Atomic Layer Deposition in Transistors and Monolithic 3D Integration
Transistors are fundamental building blocks of modern electronics. This review summarizes recent progress in atomic layer deposition (ALD) for the synthesis of two‐dimensional (2D) metal oxides and transition‐metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), with particular emphasis on their enabling role in monolithic three‐dimensional (M3D) integration for next ...

Heating efficiency in hydrogen-dominated upper atmospheres
Context. The heating efficiency is defined as the ratio of the net local gas-heating rate to the rate of stellar radiative energy absorption. It plays an important role in thermal-escape processes from the upper atmospheres of planets that are exposed to

Developing recyclable materials for magnetic robotics that combine rapid response and self‐healing properties is challenging. Hence, this study focuses on the integration of magnetothermal nanoparticles into a dynamic sorbitol‐based vitrimer, a recyclable composite capable of remote actuation and self‐healing by magnetic heating.

Magnetic Scaling Laws for the Atmospheres of Hot Giant Exoplanets
We present scaling laws for advection, radiation, magnetic drag and ohmic dissipation in the atmospheres of hot giant exoplanets. In the limit of weak thermal ionization, ohmic dissipation increases with the planetary equilibrium temperature (T_eq ...

Conventional doping of P3HT with F4TCNQ results in poor charge transport. However, when F4TCNQ is exchanged with LiTFSI, the transport characteristics are greatly enhanced. We find the increase in charge transport is directly related to an increase in the mesoscale ordering of P3HT, resulting in longer and better‐connected transport pathways.

Io: Escape and ionization of atmospheric gases [PDF]
Models for the Io oxygen clouds were improved to calculate the two dimensional sky plane intensity of the 1304 A emission and the 880 A emission of atomic oxygen, in addition to the 6300 A emission intensity.
