Emerging High‐Entropy Electrolytes for High‐Performance Alkali Metal Batteries: Mechanism, Progress, and Prospects

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Alkali metal (Li, Na, and K) batteries (AMBs) have attracted widespread attention in recent years because of their high theoretical specific capacity and attractive energy density. However, they still suffer from uncontrollable dendrite growth and sluggish conductivity during cycling, which lead to security issues and inferior cycling ...

Superionic Germanium Substituted Lithium Thioarsante Li6+xGexAs1‐xS5Br Argyrodites With High Air Stability

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 45, 13 August 2026.
Ge substitution in Li6+xGexAs1‐xS5Br expands the lattice, redistributes Li+, and enhances intercage diffusion, increasing ionic conductivity 6‐fold to 12.7 mS/cm at x = 0.5. Li6.5As0.5Ge0.5S5Br also shows improved air stability, linking the lithium substructure to fast, stable ion transport in thioarsenate argyrodites. ABSTRACT Lithium argyrodite solid

Recycling End‐of‐Life Solid Oxide Cell Interconnect Assemblies into Commercial‐Grade AISI 304 Stainless Steels

open access: yessteel research international, Volume 97, Issue 8, Page 4363-4381, August 2026.
This study validates a recycling pathway for converting interconnect assemblies from end‐of‐life SOC stacks into commercial‐grade AISI 304 steels. Using scrap‐based steelmaking operations, austenitic cast steels with <4.0% δ‐ferrite are successfully produced.
