Visual Recovery Reflects Cortical MeCP2 Sensitivity in Rett Syndrome

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Rett syndrome (RTT) is a devastating neurodevelopmental disorder with developmental regression affecting motor, sensory, and cognitive functions. Sensory disruptions contribute to the complex behavioral and cognitive difficulties and represent an important target for therapeutic interventions.

Degree-Based Indices of Some Complex Networks

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
A topological index is a numeric quantity assigned to a graph that characterizes the structure of a graph. Topological indices and physico-chemical properties such as atom-bond connectivity ABC, Randić, and geometric-arithmetic index GA are of great ...

On ABC energy and its application to anticancer drugs

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2023
For a simple connected graph $ \Gamma $ with node set $ V(\Gamma) = \{w_{1}, w_{2}, \dots, w_{n}\} $ and degree sequence $ d_{i} $, the atom-bond connectivity ($ ABC $) matrix of $ \Gamma $ has an $ (ij) $-th entry $ \sqrt{\frac{d_{i}+d_{j}-2}{d_{i ...

Influence of Sample Preparation and Processing Procedures on the Thermal Diffusivity of MgO‐C Refractories

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The thermal diffusivity of MgO‐C refractories is highly sensitive to sample preparation and processing procedures. In this article, the effects of coking sequence, machining conditions, structural inhomogeneity, and graphite coating application on measurements using laser flash apparatus are systematically investigated.

On the eccentric atom-bond sum-connectivity index

open access: yesOpen Journal of Discrete Applied Mathematics
The eccentric atom-bond sum-connectivity \(\left(ABSC_{e}\right)\) index of a graph \(G\) is defined as \(ABSC_{e}(G)=\sum\limits_{uv\in E(G)}\sqrt{\frac{e_{u}+e_{v}-2}{e_{u}+e_{v}}}\), where \(e_{u}\) and \(e_{v}\) represent the eccentricities of \(u\) and \(v\) respectively. This work presents precise upper and lower bounds for the \(ABSC_{e}\) index
