Aptamer‐Directed Porous DNA Nanocomposite Hydrogel for Active Pulp Preservation: Immunomodulation, Stem Cell Recruitment and Reparative Dentinogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents an injectable DNA‐based porous hydrogel integrating catechol motifs and targeting aptamers for pulpitis management. Upon in situ crosslinking, the scaffold actively recruits endogenous dental pulp stem cells, restores redox homeostasis, and modulates immune responses.

Lighting up Macrophage Reprogramming Assists Immunosuppressive Niche Modulation in Primary Tumors and Tumor‐Draining Lymph Nodes of Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops an intelligent NIR‐II‐responsive nanoplatform to combat immunosuppression in breast cancer. It enables real‐time visualization of macrophage activity via “off‐on” fluorescence while simultaneously reprogramming macrophages through the CSF‐1R and CD47‐SIRPα pathways.

DETERMINATION OF LEAD AND CADMIUM LEVELS IN CANNED SARDINES USING ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROPHOTOMETRY

open access: yesJIIS: Jurnal Ilmiah Ibnu Sina
Canned sardines are hermetically sealed and processed to ensure sterility and provide practical convenience in processing fish. Contact between food and canned causes the migration of metal elements into them.

Flow analysis-hydride generation-gas phase derivative molecular absorption spectrophotometric determination of antimony in antileishmanial drugs

open access: yesQuímica Nova, 2009
In the present work, the development of a method based on the coupling of flow analysis (FA), hydride generation (HG), and derivative molecular absorption spectrophotometry (D-EAM) in gas phase (GP), is described in order to determine total antimony in ...

STUDIES ON CHITOSAN - BENZALDEHYDE INTERACTION IN A HOMOGENEOUS SYSTEM AND ITS ADSORPTION BEHAVIOR OF METAL IONS IN AQUEOUS SOLUTION

open access: yesASEAN Journal on Science and Technology for Development, 2017
In this work, N-benzylidene chitosan was synthesized by chitosan –benzaldehyde interaction in a homogeneous system. The modified polymers were characterized by means of infrared (IR) spectra, X-Ray diffraction and thermal analysis.

Determination of Lead in Urine by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry [PDF]

open access: yesOccupational and Environmental Medicine, 1968
A method for the determination of lead in urine by means of atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS) is described. A combination of wet ashing and extraction with ammonium pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate into isobutylmethylketone was used. The sensitivity was about 0·02 μg./ml. for 1% absorption, and the detection limit was about 0·02 μg./ml.

Understanding the Catalytic Determinant role of Diaphorase‐Like Subunit in Formate Dehydrogenases via Redox Couples

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A unique mechanism of catalytic bias regulated by diaphorase‐like subunit in formate dehydrogenase from Rhodobacter aestuarii is revealed. The diaphorase‐like subunit functions act as a biological “voltage rheostat” that controls the slow release of NADH to regulate redox balance, biasing the enzyme's catalytic preference toward CO2 reduction over ...
