Simulations of the measurement results of differential cross sections of n-p and n-d elastic scattering at CSNS Back-n WNS [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2020
Differential cross-section data for the n-p and n-d elastic scattering (1H(n, el), 2H(n, el)) are collected and analyzed from EXFOR library. For En > 20 MeV, the experimental results for both reactions are scarce with large uncertainties and ...

Atomic Data in Astrophysics [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Astronomical Union Colloquium, 1984
AbstractA short review of the atomic and molecular data which are necessary for astrophysics researches is presented. A list of atomic data is described which was chosen by first Soviet colloquiuun on atomic data in astrophysics.

ATOMIC DATA FOR FUSION [PDF]

open access: yesLe Journal de Physique IV, 1991
The atomic data for fusion needs are described principally from the point of view of diagnostic spectroscopy. Tables are presented of areas of interest and associated atomic data usage. These and the discussion summarise the experience and practice at the JET Joint Undertaking.

Developing a New Web Service for Experimental Nuclear Reaction Database (EXFOR) Using RESTful API and JSON [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
Efficient data mining from the Experimental Nuclear Reaction Database (EXFOR) has a potential for utilization of modern computational analysis techniques to find trends, shortcomings and hidden patterns in the database, which in turn helps improve our ...

The evaluation of experimental data in fast range for n + 56Fe(n,inl)

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
Iron is one of the five materials selected for evaluation within the pilot international evaluation project CIELO. Analysis of experimental data for n+56Fe reaction is the basis for constraining theoretical calculations and eventual creation of the ...

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Precise Atomic Data [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1988
We discuss the three questions: Why do we need accurate atomic data for stellar spectroscopy? What accuracy is needed? And: How can the accuracy of oscillator strengths be assessed? In conclusion we comment on the state of the art, stress the importance of uncertainty estimates and also discern between precision and accuracy.
