AFM Calculated Parameters of Morphology Investigation of Spin Coated MZO (M = Al, Sn, Cd, Co) Layers [PDF]

open access: yesЖурнал нано- та електронної фізики, 2015
This paper reports on the deposition and surface properties of the pure and doped zinc oxide layers produced by spin coating route. Pure and metallic (Al, Sn, Cd, Co) doped ZnO films are characterized by mean of atomic force microscopy (AFM).

Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) Analysis of Cell Wall Structural Glycoproteins in vitro

open access: yesBio-Protocol, 2015
Hydroxyproline-rich glycoproteins (HRGPs) are major protein components in dicot primary cell walls and generally account for more than 10% of the wall dry weight.

Engineering Intelligent Graphene Oxide‐Cellulose Membranes: Suppressing Thermal Runaway for a Safer Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel thermos‐responsive hydroxypropyl cellulose/graphene oxide (HPC/GO) composite membrane is fabricated for reversible temperature‐gated ion transport in aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. Enabled by LCST‐driven structural transition, unimpeded ion diffusion at room temperature delivers high capacity, while elevated temperature suppresses transport; full ...

Automated registration and clustering for enhanced localization atomic force microscopy of flexible membrane proteins.

open access: yesPLoS Computational Biology
Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) can create images of biomolecules under near-native conditions but suffers from limited lateral resolution due to the finite AFM tip size and recording frequency.

Control of atomic force microscopes

open access: yes, 2014
Atomic force microscopes or AFMs are instruments which use a mechanical probe to scan a sample and estimate surface topography with nanometer accuracy. The term atomic force originates from the fact that the imaging process relies upon the existence of ...

Polymer Interface Enables Reversible Quasi‐Solid Sulfur Conversion in Sodium‐Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The polymer interface enables a stable quasi‐solid sulfur conversion pathway in room‐temperature Na─S batteries. The coating regulates Na+ transport, stabilizes the cathode–electrolyte interphase, and accommodates mechanical stress, suppressing electrolyte decomposition and sulfur migration, thereby improving reaction uniformity, reducing polarization,

A hybrid high-speed atomic force–optical microscope for visualizing single membrane proteins on eukaryotic cells

open access: yes, 2013
International audienceHigh-speed atomic force microscopy is a powerful tool for studying structure and dynamics of proteins. So far, however, high-speed atomic force microscopy was restricted to well-controlled molecular systems of purified proteins ...

Rationally Designed Bilayer Passivation Strategy for High‐Performance Vacuum‐Processed Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A bilayer “Anchor‐and‐Seal” passivation strategy using EDAI2 and 4MeO‐PEAI effectively mitigates surface defects in vacuum‐processed perovskite films through synergistic hydrogen bonding and Lewis base coordination. This approach optimizes interfacial energy alignment and suppresses non‐radiative recombination, enabling vacuum‐deposited p‐i‐n ...

Formation of Quasi‐Decoupling Interface on Li‐Metal Anodes in High Donor Electrolyte

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Li‐metal anode (LMA) is stabilized by introducing Li2Te2 as an electrolyte additive for Li‐metal batteries. Upon contact with Li, Li2Te2 spontaneously converts to Li2Te, which electronically isolates Li from dimethyl sulfoxide due to its large bandgap and minimal Bader charge transfer.
