Atopic eruption of pregnancy: A report of 2 cases
2021Pregnancy specific dermatoses are a group of pruritic disorders that are solely seen in pregnancy and the postpartum period. Atopic eruption of pregnancy is the most frequently seen pregnancy specific dermatosis and it usually seen in the second trimester. It usually responds well to the treatment and there is no risk for the fetal development.

Background: The management of term pregnancy complicated by active maternal skin infection at the surgical site, bacterial colonization, and fetal anomalies presents a significant therapeutic challenge. Incising through infected tissue for a cesarean section increases the risk of surgical site infection and wound dehiscence.
