Recurrence of an atrial myxoma
International Journal of Cardiology, 1991 A 22-year-old man had an operation 14 years ago for removal of a left atrial myxoma. He was admitted to our hospital because of acute femoral arterial embolism. Echocardiographic examination revealed a mobile pedunculated echodense atrial mass attached to the atrial septum.

European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, 1991 Familial and biatrial myxomas of the heart have rarely been described. We describe a familial atrial myxoma involving a parent with biatrial and a child with a left atrial myxoma. Atrial myxomas were diagnosed preoperatively by echocardiography and successfully removed at operation.
