A mail survey conducted among physicians, nurses and ambulance personnel in Oslo revealed considerable support for regionalization of the city's hospital services. The physicians would prefer to reduce the larger hospital regions and increase the smaller ones in order to improve collaboration between hospitals and other public health services.
