Maternal glucocorticoids have persistent effects on offspring social phenotype irrespective of opportunity for social buffering

open access: yesJournal of Animal Ecology, EarlyView.
This study tests whether early‐life maternal association buffers offspring from the effects of prenatal stress in a facultatively social lizard.
