Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

Stability analysis for a rational difference equation

open access: yesArab Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences, 2020
Most qualitative behaviours of difference equations are rapidly investigated nowadays. This can be attributed to the fact that it is often sophisticated to construct the exact solutions of most difference equations. This article is written to analyse the

Dynamics in an n-Species Lotka–Volterra Cooperative System with Delays

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
We studied a class of generalized n-species non-autonomous cooperative Lotka–Volterra (L-V) systems with time delays. We obtained new criteria on the dynamic properties of the systems. First, we obtained the boundedness and permanence of the system using

On the existence and exponential attractivity of a unique positive almost periodic solution to an impulsive hematopoiesis model with delays

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper, a generalized model of hematopoiesis with delays and impulses is considered. By employing the contraction mapping principle and a novel type of impulsive delay inequality, we prove the existence of a unique positive almost periodic ...

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Restricted total stability and total attractivity

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2006
In this paper the new concepts of restricted total stability and total attractivity is formulated. For this purpose the classical theory of Malkin with suitable changes and the theory of limiting equations, introduced by Sell developed by ...

Yorke and Wright 3/2-stability theorems from a unified point of view [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We consider a family of scalar delay differential equations $x'(t)=f(t,x_t)$, with a nonlinearity $f$ satisfying a negative feedback condition combined with a boundedness condition.

Combining antibody conjugates with cytotoxic and immune‐stimulating payloads maximizes anti‐cancer activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

L’activité informatique et l’accessibilité économique

open access: yesNetcom, 2009
Through the study of three territories of the Parisian metropolis, in relation to a political, economic and territorial approach, our analysis results in drawing a picture on the tendencies of localization of the computing activity which take place in ...

Some Rural Attractions which Attract Tourists

open access: yesAsian Journal of Agriculture and Rural Development, 2019
Developing rural tourism is a comprehensive strategy for improving the rural economy. The Structure Equation Model (SEM) approach was applied to test how attraction and experiential values of a rural region affect the tourists’ satisfaction and their decision to revisit. After interviewing 353 tourists during their trip to Hakka County, Miaoli, Taiwan,
