Polyploidy in atypical grade II choroid plexus papilloma of the posterior fossa
Cytogenetic studies of choroid plexus tumors, particularly for atypical choroid plexus papillomas, have been rarely described. In the present report, the cytogenetic investigation of an atypical choroid plexus papilloma occurring at the posterior fossa of a 16‐year‐old male is described.

Grade II atypical choroid plexus papilloma with normal karyotype
Cytogenetic studies of atypical choroid plexus papillomas (CPP) have been poorly described. In the present report, the cytogenetic investigation of an atypical CPP occurring in an infant is detailed.CPP chromosome preparations were analyzed by giemsa-trypsin-banding (GTG-banding) and comparative genome hybridization (CGH).Conventional karyotype ...

Metastatic atypical choroid plexus papilloma: a case report
Journal of Neuro-Oncology, 2006Choroid plexus papillomas (CPPs) are rare adult tumours and metastatic disease is even less common, more typically associated with choroid plexus carcinoma. We present the case of a 32-year-old patient with multiple metastases arising along the length of the neuraxis 3 years after resection of an atypical fourth ventricular CPP.

Ossifying choroid plexus papilloma recurring with features of atypical papilloma
Neuropathology, 2008A case of ossifying choroid plexus papilloma (CPP) with an unusual clinical course is reported. The patient was a 46‐year‐old woman who underwent surgery for a 3‐cm tumor occupying the fourth ventricle. The tumor showed typical histopathological features of CPP, and the formation of psammoma bodies and mature bone trabeculae was prominent in the stroma.

Isoforms of the CD44 adhesion molecule have been assigned a pivotal role in tumor invasion and metastasis. CD44 splice variants may be selectively expressed in various normal and neoplastic tissues. We investigated immunohistochemically the presence of the standard (H) and two variant (v3, v6) isoforms of the CD44 molecule in a series comprising 13 ...
