SLPI⁺ AT2‐Like Cells Orchestrate Lung Adenocarcinoma Invasion via Wnt Pathway Activation and Stromal Crosstalk in a Spatially Defined Margin Niche

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrating spatial transcriptomics and single‐cell RNA sequencing, this study identifies a novel subpopulation of SLPI⁺ AT2‐like cells at the invasive margin of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). These cells, through stromal crosstalk and Wnt pathway activation, promote tumor stemness and invasion.

Edge Information‐Augmented Auxiliary Diagnosis Method for Cervical Cancer in Medical Decision‐Making Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
To address the problems of insufficient utilization of multiscale features and inefficient feature sharing between tasks in the model, this study proposes an edge‐enhanced intelligent cervical cancer screening method that achieves feature reuse and improves efficiency by jointly optimizing nucleolus segmentation and lesion classification.

The proliferation markers in patients with different forms of hyperplastic endometrial processes

open access: yesJournal of Education, Health and Sport, 2022
Introduction: Endometrial hyperplastic processes (EHP) are characterized by recurrent course, high risk of malignancy, difficulties in diagnosing and predicting the course, which determines their great medical and social significance Objective: To ...

Expert Perspective: Diagnosis and Treatment of Castleman Disease

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Castleman disease (CD) is a major diagnostic challenge for rheumatologists. Unicentric CD (UCD) involves one enlarged lymph node region, whereas multicentric CD (MCD) involves multiple enlarged lymph node regions. Both UCD and MCD may exhibit a wide range of symptoms that overlap with other immune‐mediated conditions.

Preneoplastic lesions of the lung

open access: yesRespiratory Research, 2002
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide. If we can define and detect preneoplastic lesions, we might have a chance of improving survival.

Reprogramming SREBP1‐dependent lipogenesis and inflammation in high‐risk breast with licochalcone A: A novel path to cancer prevention

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
What's New? Endocrine drugs repurposed from treatment protocols are the primary medications available for breast cancer (BC) prevention in at‐risk women. Adverse effects, however, significantly minimize uptake and prevention impact. Here, the authors investigated licochalcone A (LicA), a non‐endocrine anti‐inflammatory agent with reported hematologic ...

Genomic signature driving preinvasive to invasive processes in stage I lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
What's New? The progression of lung cancer from minimally invasive adenocarcinoma (MIA) to invasive adenocarcinoma (IA) is a complex process involving molecular and microenvironment changes. Key molecular events that drive the invasion process, however, remain poorly characterized. In this comparison of gene profiles and differentially mutated genes in
