Small Science, Volume 4, Issue 2, February 2024.This article reports a porous Fe3O4 core–Au satellite nanocomposite prepared using a selective etching strategy for realizing advanced oxidation processes under visible light. The porous structure of the synthesized nanomaterial considerably enhances its photocatalytic activity, surface area, and light absorption.
