MODELING OF THE FLOW OF NON-NEWTONIAN MATERIAL THROUGH THE OIL PRESS AUGER CHANNEL

Prior particle boundaries in hot isostatically pressed nickel-based superalloy, studied by Auger electron spectroscopy

Metals Technology, 1981
Auger electron analyses have produced evidence that, during argon atomization and subsequent processing, a thin oxide film can form on the surfaces of powder particles of a nickel-based superalloy....

Effect of Auger‐ and Press‐Type Mechanical Deboning Machines on Selected Characteristics of Mechanically Deboned Poultry

Journal of Food Science, 1982
ABSTRACT Selected chemical, functional, textural, and sensory properties were evaluated for mechanically deboned poultry (MDP) prepared from three auger‐type (Paoli, Beehive, and Yieldmaster) and one press‐type (Protecon) mechanical deboners. Protecon MDP, prepared without a preliminary grinding of the in‐going raw material, contained

The identification of a grain-boundary phase in hot-pressed silicon nitride by Auger electron spectroscopy

Journal of Materials Science, 1974
The presence of magnesium, calcium and oxygen has been detected in the intergranular fracture surface of an Si3N4-7% MgO hot-pressed material by Auger electron spectroscopy, together with a chemical shift in the silicon Auger peak. The composition of this grain-boundary phase has been estimated as (0.40 ± 0.03) CaO. (0.75 ± 0.10) MgO.

Auger Analysis of Hot‐Pressed and Sintered Silicon Carbide

Journal of the American Ceramic Society, 1985
Intergranular and transgranular chemistries of hot‐pressed and sintered silicon carbides were investigated by Auger electron spectroscopy. Results indicated major differences in grain‐boundary compositions between the two. Hot‐pressed silicon carbide displayed a complex intergranular chemistry.

Analysis of Grain‐Boundary Impurities and Fluoride Additives in Hot‐Pressed Oxides by Auger Electron Spectroscopy

Journal of the American Ceramic Society, 1974
Auger electron spectroscopy was used to characterize grain‐boundary chemistry in MgO, Al 2 O 3 , and MgAl 2 O 4 (spinel) hot‐pressed with LiF or NaF.
