Shape‐Memory Alloy Torsion Strips for Soft Robotic Manipulation and Morphing

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
In this research, a dedicated configuration of SMA strip is proposed for soft robotic manipulation and morphing. This configuration has broad application prospects and demonstrates remarkable advantages in soft body joint operations. Mimicking invertebrates, soft robots tend to control each of their body joints to achieve the desired shape changes and ...

Parametric Investigation of Electrochemical Synthesis of Ammonium Persulfate in Flow Reactor

open access: yesChemElectroChem, EarlyView.
The peroxodisulfate anion, also known as persulfate, contains sulfur in the +6‐oxidation state, similar to sulfate, but also contains a peroxide bond that makes it a strong oxidant. The standard reduction potential (Eo) for the persulfate anion (S2O82–) is 2.1 V, which is greater than the value for H2O2 (Eo = 1.8 V) and permanganate (MnO4–) (Eo = 1.7 V)
