Digital space for payroll and remuneration
The study identifies the features of wage systems that directly affect their implementation in automated programs. The complexity of salary calculation, and sometimes the inability to implement a particular system in an automated program, is the main ...

Automated Water Balance Calculation for Water Distribution Systems
AbstractEstablishing a water balance for a water distribution network with the majority of available tools requires manual data collection and processing. This is why water balances in most cases are determined for a whole network and only at long intervals. Unmetered components are often neglected or based on rough estimates.

ABSTRACT Background Therapeutic apheresis (TA) is an established treatment modality for hematologic, neurologic, and immunologic disorders, yet access remains severely limited in sub‐Saharan Africa. Donor apheresis, including platelet apheresis collection from healthy donors, represents an important complementary modality supporting blood product ...

A method for reliability detection of automated guided vehicle based on timed automata
To ensure the normal operation of the automated guided vehicle, the system must pass the reliability test in the process of design and manufacturing. Unreliable events are small probability events, which is not easy to be detected by using experimental ...

Calculation method to determine the throughput and the energy consumption of S/R shuttle systems [PDF]
Shuttle systems are used in high performance automated storage/retrieval unit load systems. Each storage level is serviced by one shuttle. On the front side of the rack there is a lift for storage and retrieval.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.
