Abstract The theory of automatic continuity deals with the extent to which certain algebraic conditions on linear mappings imply their continuity. Typical results in this theory establish the continuity of all multiplicative linear functionals on Banach algebras and of all positive linear operators on Banach lattices.

This note is a survey of results on the automatic continuity of positive functionals and of *-representations of locally m-convex *-algebras. As a byproduct one obtains uniqueness of the topology of a Frechet locally m-convex C*-algebra. In particular, attempt has been made to avoid continuity of the involution.

Continuous Linting with Automatic Debug

Lint tools analyze RTL statically and report code segments that do not comply with the selected coding guidelines. It is quick to run and as the error messages are very precise it is easy to fix the issues. It requires much less resources to fix a linting issue than to find and fix the same issue during simulation of a test.
