Automatic exploitation generation method of write-what-where vulnerability

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2022
To solve the problem that the current vulnerability automatic exploitation generation methods cannot automatically generate control-flow-hijacking exploitation from write-what-where, a method of automatic exploitation generation for write-what-where was ...

Automatic generation control of power system in deregulated environment using hybrid TLBO and pattern search technique

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal, 2020
In the present work, a hybrid Teaching Learning Based Optimization and Pattern Search (hTLBO-PS) technique with Tilted Integral Derivative (TID) controller is suggested for Automatic Generation Control (AGC) under deregulated environment.

Interplay between circadian and other transcription factors—Implications for cycling transcriptome reprogramming

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This perspective highlights emerging insights into how the circadian transcription factor CLOCK:BMAL1 regulates chromatin architecture, cooperates with other transcription factors, and coordinates enhancer dynamics. We propose an updated framework for how circadian transcription factors operate within dynamic and multifactorial chromatin landscapes ...

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Enhancing Grid Operation with Electric Vehicle Integration in Automatic Generation Control

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
Wind energy has been recognized as a clean energy source with significant potential for reducing carbon emissions. However, its inherent variability poses substantial challenges for power system operators due to its unpredictable nature.

Flexibility Management in Economic Dispatch With Dynamic Automatic Generation Control [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Power Systems, 2020
As the installation of electronically interconnected renewable energy resources grows rapidly in power systems, system frequency maintenance and control become challenging problems to maintain the system reliability in bulk power systems.

Open source tool for DSMs generation from high resolution optical satellite imagery. Development and testing of an OSSIM plug-in [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The fully automatic generation of digital surface models (DSMs) is still an open research issue. From recent years, computer vision algorithms have been introduced in photogrammetry in order to exploit their capabilities and efficiency in three ...

Monitoring of circulating tumor DNA allows early detection of disease relapse in patients with operable breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.
