Automatically Controlled Dust Generation System Using Arduino
A dust generator was developed to disperse and maintain a desired concentration of airborne dust in a controlled environment chamber to study poultry physiological response to sustained elevated levels of particulate matter. The goal was to maintain an indicated PM10 concentration of 50 µg/m3 of airborne dust in a 3.7 m × 4.3 m × 2.4 m (12 ft × 14 ft ×

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Designing Structure-Dependent MPC-Based AGC Schemes Considering Network Topology
This paper presents the important features of structure-dependent model predictive control (MPC)-based approaches for automatic generation control (AGC) considering network topology. Since power systems have various generators under different topologies,

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Multi-timescale robust dispatching for coordinated automatic generation control and energy storage
The increasing penetration of renewable energy into power grids is reducing the regulation capacity of automatic generation control (AGC). Thus, there is an urgent demand to coordinate AGC units with active equipment such as energy storage.

Control strategies for automatic generation control over MTDC grids [PDF]
Abstract Increasingly in power systems, there is a trend towards the sharing of reserves and integration of markets over wide areas in order to enable increased penetration of renewable sources in interconnected power systems. In this paper, a number of simple PI and gain based Model Predictive Control algorithms are proposed for Automatic Generation
