Upper Cervical Cord Area as a Biomarker of Conversion to Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Objective This study assessed whether upper cervical cord area (UCCA) measured on routine brain MRI can serve as a biomarker of conversion to SPMS. Methods This is a single‐center retrospective cohort study of RRMS patients with cross‐sectional and longitudinal analyses of clinical and MRI data. Future SPMS converters were matched by age, sex,

Automatic supermartingales acting on sequences
This paper describes a construction of supermartingales realized as automatic functions. A capital of supermartingales is represented using automatic capital groups~(ACG). Properties of these automatic supermartingales are then studied. Automatic supermartingales induce a notion of random infinite binary sequence.

Automatic parsing of sports videos with grammars
Motivated by the analogies between languages and sports videos, we introduce a novel approach for video parsing with grammars. It utilizes compiler techniques for integrating both semantic annotation and syntactic analysis to generate a semantic index ...

Objective To support high‐quality, patient‐centered care for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) developed evidence‐based measures incorporating clinical and patient‐reported outcome measures (PROMs). Using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR), we conducted semistructured interviews ...

Cued Speech Gesture Recognition: A First Prototype Based on Early Reduction
Cued Speech is a specific linguistic code for hearing-impaired people. It is based on both lip reading and manual gestures. In the context of THIMP (Telephony for the Hearing-IMpaired Project), we work on automatic cued speech translation. In this paper,

Finite automaton is a well known and utilized computational model. Automatic sequences’ definition is bootstraped using the notion of finite automaton. More specifically for the definition we use DFA (Deterministic Finite Automaton) with an output function τ and call it DFAO (Deterministic Finite Automaton with Output).
