Abstract The wear fault of the inner and outer race of bearing in an in-wheel motor is vital as the performance of bearing effects the transmission efficiency. Unlike the commonly used vibration analysis-based monitoring methods, the accelerometer cannot be installed inside the in-wheel motor since it would damage the structural reliability.

The process of air separation unit has the characteristics of many types of equipment, long flow, and strong relativity and complicates structures. A multi-variable model predictive control strategy to achieve the goal of automatic variable-load for the control limits in the variable-load process of air separation unit was proposed.

For many years, single-phase static phase converters have been used to supply power to three-phase motors from single-phase distribution systems. However, the main disadvantage on many loads is that while virtually perfect current balance can be obtained at a given load, the balance cannot be maintained over a wide motor-load range.

In this paper we describe a programmable electrical low-cost system, destined to characterize the functioning of photovoltaic modules and to compare their performances under variable climatic conditions (temperature, humidity). The system is based on a circuit compound of several resistors, sensors and an Arduino board programmed to sweep all the ...

Abstract For antenna array with large number of elements, the multistage Wiener filter (MWF) is an efficient method to perform reduced-rank beamforming. Similar to the generalized sidelobe canceller (GSC), MWF is also sensitive to direction of arrival (DOA) mismatch of the signal of interest (SOI).

Most oversized three-phase induction motors operate with low efficiency and power factor, which is by far the most important cause of poor power factor in industrial installations. In the low-load operating periods, motor performance can be improved both in terms of efficiency and power factor through stator-winding connection change from delta to star.
