Mapping Nanoscale Buckling in Atomically Thin Cr2Ge2Te6
Atomic‐resolution STEM is used to resolve nanoscale buckling in monolayer Cr2Ge2Te₆. A noise‐robust image analysis reconstructs three‐dimensional lattice distortions from single plan‐view images, revealing pronounced defect‐driven nm‐scale out‐of‐plane buckling.

Phosphorus requirements of quail chicks for optimizing performance
Phosphorus is a critical nutrient for optimal growth and bone development in Japanese quail chicks. This study was conducted to estimate the dietary requirement for available phosphorus in Japanese quails between 7 and 14 days of age, applying a ...

Food Quality in Producer-Grazer Models: A Generalized Analysis
Stoichiometric constraints play a role in the dynamics of natural populations, but are not explicitly considered in most mathematical models. Recent theoretical works suggest that these constraints can have a significant impact and should not be ...

Phosphorus availability from olivine for biospheres
Phosphorus plays a multifaceted role for all known life and hence understanding its sources on the early Earth provides constraints on how life developed to incorporate this element into its biochemistry. Currently, the major phosphorus mineral group on the surface of the Earth are the apatites, which are poorly soluble calcium phosphates and hence may

AgCrP2S6 reveals a momentum‐indirect band edge (≈1.35 eV) and chain‐locked linear dichroism: the first direct transitions emerge at 1.6–1.8 eV for E||a. Resonant Raman and photoemission corroborate this assignment. In ACPS/graphene heterostructures, photocurrent turns on above ≈1.5 eV and follows the same polarization selection rules (anisotropy ≈0.53),

Nitrogen and phosphorus leakage in ecological recycling agriculture [PDF]
In this report we quantify nitrogen and phosphorus leakage on three farms in the BERAS project. The study is based on direct measurements of nitrogen and phosphorus concentration in drainage water and water flow ...

A circular route, involving upcycling of waste surgical masks, affords a Mn‐based layered carbide with porosity, redox activity and low work function. These features enable its effective operation as positive supercapacitor electrode in an aqueous asymmetric supercapacitor delivering 213 Wh L−1 energy density.

Biological availability of phosphorus
In September 1978 the Engineering and Technological Aspects (ETA) Committee expressed its concerns to the Great Lakes Science Advisory Board that efforts to control inputs of pollutants to the Great Lakes, such as heavy metals and, in particular, phosphorus, were not directed at biologically available forms, but rather at the total inputs of the ...
