Where Most Frameworks Degrade: Flexible Bimetallic Phosphonate Crystals as pH‐Universal Supercapacitor Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Plastically flexible single crystals of the bimetallic phosphonate framework [Cu(2,2′‐bpy)VO(O3PC6H5)2] combine mechanical adaptability with robust pseudocapacitive charge storage. The material delivers about 140 Fg−1 at pH 4 and pH 10 and remains stable across pH 2‐12, enabling energy storage under comparatively mild electrolyte conditions.

Effect of Exogenous Organic Matter on Phosphorus Forms in Middle-High Fertility Cinnamon Soil

open access: yesPlants
Objectives: To slow down the chemical fixation of phosphate fertilizer, reduce the risk of active phosphorus leaching, stimulate the inherent phosphorus resource activity of soil, and improve phosphorus supply capacity.

Mineral nutrition and its genetic signature in oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.): A possible panorama for high yielding materials at low fertiliser cost [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Significant differences in the mineral nutrition have been demonstrated between progenies and the main categories at PT Socfindo (Jacquemard et al, 2002). A new set of investigations has been conducted based on a larger genetic background.

Novel 3D‐Printed Biophotonic Scaffold Displaying Luminescence under Near‐Infrared Light for Photopharmacological Activation and Biological Signaling Compound Release

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Despite significant efforts in developing novel biomaterials to regenerate tissue, only a few of them have successfully reached clinical use. It has become clear that the next generation of biomaterials must be multifunctional. Smart biomaterials can respond to environmental or external stimuli, interact in a spatial‐temporal manner, and trigger ...

Challenges and opportunities on the use of bio fertilizers: examples from Senegal and Kenya [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Not only phosphorus (P) bio available in soil is very low but phosphate fertilizing efficiency is also low. Consequently, annual world P demand increases predicting phosphorus stock end in the coming 125 years.
