The Journal of Humanistic Counseling, Education and Development, 2008
Managing deployment of grid infrastructure software is a major challenge in setting up large and heterogeneous Grids. This is one of the key issues preventing wide spread adoption of Grid Computing in enterprises. This paper introduces 'Avalanche', an open source distributed deployment and change management system.

Avalanche Trauma

The Journal of Trauma: Injury, Infection, and Critical Care, 1989
Medical aspects of avalanche accidents have apparently not been studied in the American literature. Records from the Utah Avalanche Forecasting Center (UAFC) for the period 1982-1987 were reviewed and compared with similar data from Europe and Canada. One hundred forty-five avalanches involving 188 individuals were reported to the UAFC. Ninety-one (48%)

Avalanche dynamics

Stochastics and Dynamics, 2016
The avalanche transformation as a model for avalanches in neural dynamics was introduced in [8] in 2008. Here we discuss this transformation in terms of group actions, random dynamics and skew products with a finite invariant measure. The results are based on [8]. Some open problems are mentioned.

Avalanche

Proceedings of the 1st ACM SIGPLAN workshop on Functional high-performance computing, 2012
Flow graph models have recently become increasingly popular as a way to express parallel computations. However, most of these models either require specialized languages and compilers or are library-based solutions requiring coarse-grained applications to achieve acceptable performance.
