Average-Value Modeling of Direct-Driven PMSG-Based Wind Energy Conversion Systems

IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, 2022
Control design and stability analysis of direct-driven permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG)-based wind energy conversion systems (WECSs) typically involve extensive time-domain simulations and frequency-domain analyses. Those studies rely on accurate and computationally efficient models of WECSs.

Measurement of Average Energy Required to Produce an Ion Pair (W Value) for Low-Energy Ions in Several Gases

Radiation Research, 1985
The W value, the mean energy required to form an ion pair, was measured for monoenergetic positive, H, He, C, N, O, and Ar ions in the energy range from 1 to 50 keV in air, N/sub 2/, CH/sub 4/, CO/sub 2/, and a tissue-equivalent gas (Rossi-Failla mixture).
