Observation of Linear and Nonlinear Light Trapping on Topological Dislocations

Topological dislocations are global lattice defects found in various systems ranging from crystals to photonic lattices. This work reports the first observation at optical frequencies of linear modes with tunable localization bound to edge dislocations and their nonlinear counterparts ‐ dislocation solitons. Correctable or not? The case of plant epithets derived from the Elbrus/Elburs Mountains in Iran, with further notes on taxonomic grey literature

Small Methods, Volume 9, Issue 9, September 1, 2025.
This paper presents a flexible CsPbBr3 perovskite memristor with synaptic behavior, which is in accordance with the Bienenstock‐Cooper‐Munro (BCM) theory of cortical plasticity, realized directly, similarly to biological experiments. Additionally, this effect can be modulated by visible light, within the framework of BCM theory.
