Aging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 10, October 2026.Senescent cancer cells exhibit a secretory phenotype, known as SASP, capable of inducing paracrine senescence. However, the main factors within the SASP triggering this process are unknown. Here, we demonstrate that EVs within the SASP are necessary and sufficient to induce paracrine senescence.

Journal of Sleep Research, Volume 35, Issue 5, October 2026.In 15 postoperative cardiac surgery patients, venous reactive oxygen species (ROS) measured by electron spin resonance (ESR) over 48 h showed no consistent circadian pattern. Higher ROS was associated with lower subjective sleep efficiency and more nocturnal awakenings, but not with other sleep measures.
