Abstract Rolling speed ratios during the rolling process are critical to ring forming in this pepper. The selected roll feed mode is constant with the increasing speed of ring diameter during the main rolling stage. Based on Deform-3D finite element software, a large size ring with a diameter of φ1530 mm was taken as the research object.
