The axial dispersion model and orthogonal collocation
Chemical Engineering Science, 1994The aim of the note is to demonstrate a numerical solution procedure based on the method of orthogonal collocation (Finlayson, 1972; Villadsen and Michelsen, 1978), where the problems associated with the Danckwerts boundary conditions are avoided by treating the bed as a section in an infinitely long system.

Axial dispersion in flow porous electrodes
Journal of Applied Electrochemistry, 1977The coefficient of axial dispersionDL in a porous electrode, composed of rolled 80-mesh platinum screen, was determined using the process of the flow electrolysis of 2.0×10−3 M K3Fe(CN)6 in 1 MKCl in water. The results were analysed in the light of an earlier model for flow electrodes.
