A retrospective analysis of 200 axillary route thyroidectomy cases

open access: yesJournal of Head & Neck Physicians and Surgeons, 2016
Background: Thyroid disorders are common in women. The surgical solution available in most places is open thyroidectomy, which can ultimately lead to unsightly scar formation. This can be cosmetically unappealing, especially for women.

Axillary Artery Hemostasis Post–Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump Failure

open access: yesJACC: Case Reports, 2020
Intra-aortic balloon pump via the axillary approach has been increasingly utilized to facilitate physical rehabilitation prior to definitive heart failure therapy. There is a high risk of device fracture with loss of arterial accessibility.

Printing‐Assisted Integration of Thermal, Fluidic and Electrical Components in Implants for Focal Brain Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Extrusion‐based 3D printing of silicones and discrete electronic components are combined to create cortical implants for rodents that integrate thermal neuromodulation and electrical recording. Linked to an autonomous auxiliary driver unit, the system enables rapid, stable and localized hypothermia alongside ECoG recording.

Granzyme B PET Imaging Reveals Lgmn+ Macrophage‐Mediated Immune Evasion and Guides Immunotherapy in EGFR‐TKI‐Resistant NSCLC

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Graphical illustration of 68Ga‐GZB PET/CT imaging reveals immune dynamics post‐EGFR‐TKI resistance in NSCLC; Lgmn+ macrophages‐derived Lgmn‐containing extracellular vesicles inhibit glycolysis, induce CD8+ T cell exhaustion, and targeting Lgmn restores immunotherapy sensitivity.

Unveiling the Complete Biosynthetic Pathway of Azacitidine: A Rare 1,3,5‐Triazine Nucleoside Derived From GTP

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
The azacitidine biosynthetic gene cluster (aza BGC) was identified by the resistance‐gene‐guided comparative genomics method in Streptomyces mobaraensis IPIO2. The complete biosynthetic pathway of azacitidine, which follows a “base‐first‐then‐glycosylation” logic, was elucidated through in vivo and in vitro experiments.

Reconstruction of axillary hidradenitis suppurativa defects with thoracodorsal artery perforator flaps: Our clinical experience

open access: yesTurkish Journal of Plastic Surgery, 2020
Background: Axillary hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic, debilitating condition. Sinus tracts, abscess foci, and relapsing chronic inflammation are the hallmarks of the disease, which affects about 1% of the population.

USP4‐Dependent CHAF1B Stabilization Regulates Distinct SETDB1 Ubiquitin States Linked to AKT T308 Signaling and Lipogenic Remodeling in HCC

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
USP4 stabilizes CHAF1B by limiting K48‐linked ubiquitination. Stabilized CHAF1B supports UHRF1‐associated K63‐linked SETDB1 ubiquitination and cytoplasmic redistribution, whereas CHAF1B loss favors VHL‐dependent K11‐associated degradative ubiquitination and proteasomal loss of SETDB1.
