An interpretable machine learning framework integrating SHAP and PDP analysis identifies critical design descriptors from 139 physicochemical features for Nb─Si alloys. The framework achieves <7% prediction error and guides the discovery of Nb38.5Ti38.5Si3Zr18V2 alloy with 22.791 MPa·m1/2 fracture toughness, breaking the 20 MPa·m1/2 barrier.

Aksjomat multiplikatywny Russela
We present the history of two parallel (and equivalent) discoveries: the axiom of choice and the multiplicative axiom. Firstly, we consider the origins of the formulation of the multiplicative axiom. Next, we concentrate on Russell’s attitude towards the

We report the fast generation of biocompatible solutions of highly 13C‐hyperpolarized (≈11%) partially‐deuterated ketoisocaproate within <6 min using spin‐lock‐induced crossing and reversible exchange with parahydrogen (SLIC‐SABRE). This enables rapid detection of branched‐chain‐amino‐acid transferase 1 (BCAT1) protein expression and investigation of ...

The Satisfiability Problem for Boolean Set Theory with a Choice Correspondence [PDF]
Given a set U of alternatives, a choice (correspondence) on U is a contractive map c defined on a family Omega of nonempty subsets of U. Semantically, a choice c associates to each menu A in Omega a nonempty subset c(A) of A comprising all elements of A

Accounting for animal health in efficiency analysis: An application to Swedish dairy farms
Abstract Poor animal health is a central concern in modern livestock production. Despite the necessity to incorporate animal health in efficiency analysis, the theoretical and empirical developments are limited on this subject. This article appropriately characterizes the axiomatic properties of animal health within a production framework.

Choice principles and lift lemmas [PDF]
We show that in {bf ZF} set theory without choice, the Ultrafilter mbox{Principle} ({bf UP}) is equivalent to several compactness theorems for Alexandroff discrete spaces and to Rudin's Lemma, a basic tool in topology and the theory of quasi-continuous ...

The Axiom of Choice in Cartesian Bicategories.
We argue that cartesian bicategories, often used as a general categorical algebra of relations, are also a natural setting for the study of the axiom of choice (AC). In this setting, AC manifests itself as an inequation asserting that every total relation contains a map.

A Note on the Topologicity of Quantale-Valued Topological Spaces [PDF]
For a quantale ${\sf{V}}$, the category $\sf V$-${\bf Top}$ of ${\sf{V}}$-valued topological spaces may be introduced as a full subcategory of those ${\sf{V}}$-valued closure spaces whose closure operation preserves finite joins.
