Grain Growth of AZ31 Magnesium Alloy Based on Three-Dimensional Cellular Automata
Based on the thermodynamic conversion mechanism and energy transition principle, a three-dimensional cellular automata model of grain growth is established from the aspects of grain orientation, grain size distribution, grain growth kinetics, and grain ...

Dent resistance of AZ31 magnesium alloy sheets
Dent resistance of AZ31 magnesium alloy sheets was examined under static and dynamic conditions. Dent tests were carried out for AZ31-O and AZ31-H24 sheets by using circular blanks and dent depth was measured and compared with that of aluminum alloys (1100-O, 5052-O, 5052-H34), copper alloy (C2801-O) and cold-rolled steel (SPCE) sheets.

Enhanced corrosion resistance of AZ31 magnesium alloys through the use of high-purity raw magnesium
Poor corrosion resistance is a critical barrier to the widespread application of magnesium alloys. Statistically, the literature reported that approximately 70% of as-cast AZ31 magnesium alloys exhibit corrosion rates exceeding 1 mm·y−1 in 3.5 wt.% NaCl ...

Effect of Mucin and Bicarbonate Ion on Corrosion Behavior of AZ31 Magnesium Alloy for Airway Stents
The biodegradable ability of magnesium alloys is an attractive feature for tracheal stents since they can be absorbed by the body through gradual degradation after healing of the airway structure, which can reduce the risk of inflammation caused by long-
