Self‐Assembling Copolymers Encapsulating Single Endothelial Cells Induce Endogenous ECM Deposition and Vascular Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents the first demonstration of stable sub‐50‐micron single‐cell GPM vesicles fabricated through the intrinsic self‐assembly of an amphiphilic copolymer. Hierarchical assembly of cell containing GPM vesicles into microspheres enable tunable, sustained cell delivery with immune protection.

Efficient Synthesis of N-Aryl-Aza-Crown Ethers via Palladium-Catalyzed Amination

open access: yes, 2016
N-Aryl-aza-crown ethers were efficiently prepared by reaction of an aza-crown ether with an aryl bromide via a palladium-catalyzed amination. The combination of Pd2(dba)3 and a biphenyl-based electron-rich bulky monophosphine is effective for catalyzing ...

Synthesis of a New Scaffold: the 7H,8H-Pyrimido[1,6-b]pyridazin-6,8-dione Nucleus

open access: yesMolecules, 2007
This paper describes a modified method of preparation of a number of α-aryl-α-(pyridazin-3-yl)-acetonitriles via the C-arylation reaction of the corresponding carbanionsof phenylacetonitriles using 3-chloropyridazine derivatives.

Loss of E3 Ubiquitin Ligase RINES via CpG Methylation Relieves Suppression of STAT3 and MYC, Facilitating Multiple Tumorigeneses

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Dysregulated protein modifications drive tumorigenesis. RINES, an E3 ubiquitin ligase, represses tumor cell proliferation and metastasis by facilitating RING domain‐dependent, ubiquitin–proteasome‐mediated degradation of STAT3 and MYC, which consequently restrains cancer stemness and oncogenic progression.

Enhancement of Dissymmetry Factors Through Axial Elongation of Hetero[n]helicenes

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A benzofuran scaffolding strategy enables the synthesis of hetero[9]‐, [12]‐, and [15]helicenes. Structural and chiroptical analyses demonstrate that systematic axial elongation increases helical distortion and significantly amplifies luminescence dissymmetry.

Advances and Perspectives in Graphene‐Based Quantum Dots Enabled Neuromorphic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Graphene‐based QDs are zero‐dimensional carbon nanomaterials with pronounced quantum confinement and tunable electronic structures. Herein, we summarize their synthesis strategies and functionalization methods, and highlight their functional roles and operating mechanisms in devices, as well as recent advances in neuromorphic electronics. We anticipate

A de‐novo Approach Towards Divergent [3+2π/σ] Photocycloadditions of Nitrones via Assembly‐Controlled Kinetic Electron Transfer Gating

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A metal‐free photocatalytic platform converts nitrones into 4‐isoxazolines and oxa–aza–bicycloheptanes through divergent [3+2π/σ] cycloadditions. Assembly‐controlled kinetic electron transfer gating dictates substrate activation, enabling selective reactivity beyond thermodynamic expectations.
