Advancements in antiviral activity of aza-heterocyclic compounds: a review

Molecular Diversity
Aza-heterocycles serve as privileged scaffolds in antiviral drug discovery due to their versatile chemical tunability and broad-spectrum biological activities. Strategic structural modifications of these pharmacophores have emerged as a powerful approach to optimize therapeutic potential, enabling the development of novel bioactive agents.

Aza‐Dipyrrinate Stabilized Compounds with a Low‐Valent Main Group Element

Chemistry – An Asian Journal, 2023
AbstractThe possibility of using aza‐dipyrromethene (a‐DPM) ligands to stabilize compounds containing low‐valent main group elements is demonstrated through the isolation of germylenes, a‐DPM(p‐tol)GeCl (2), a‐DPM(Naph)GeCl (6), and a‐DPM(Naph)GeN(TMS)2 (7) (tol=tolyl, Naph=naphthyl).

An efficient synthetic approach to aza-C-glycosyl compounds. Application to the synthesis of an aza-C-disaccharide

Tetrahedron Letters, 1996
Abstract The NIS-mediated cyclization of aminoheptenitols 5–8 (prepared in three steps from tetra- O -benzyl- d -hexopyranoses ) provided 1,2,6-trideoxy-2,6-imino-liodoheptitol derivatives 9–12, respectively, highly stereoselectively and in high yield.

Regioselective and Stereospecific Deuteration of Bioactive Aza Compounds by the Use of Ruthenium Nanoparticles

Angewandte Chemie International Edition, 2013
AbstractAn efficient H/D exchange method allowing the deuteration of pyridines, quinolines, indoles, and alkyl amines with D2 in the presence of Ru@PVP nanoparticles is described. By a general and simple procedure involving mild reaction conditions and simple filtration to recover the labeled product, the isotopic labeling of 22 compounds proceeded in ...

Aza analogues of organic and inorganic oxygen compounds of selenium

Russian Chemical Reviews, 1989
In this review information is presented on the methods of synthesis and physical and chemical properties of the aza analogues of selenoxides, selenones, derivatives of seleninic and selenous acids, and selenium dioxide — compounds which formally contain selenium–nitrogen double bonds. The bibliography includes 56 references.

Paper and thin-layer electrophoretic separations of polynuclear aza heterocyclic compounds

Journal of Chromatography A, 1967
Abstract A large number of polynuclear aza heterocyclic compounds have been separated by paper and thin-layer electrophoresis. The pherograms were scanned fluorimetrically. Many of the separated compounds were capable of being characterized and assayed by the scanning procedure.
