Azelaic Acid Utilization by a Pseudomonas [PDF]
SUMMARY: A Pseudomonas isolate which utilizes azelaic acid as the sole carbon source was isolated from garden soil. Two different variants of the microorganisms were obtained from the original culture in azelaic acid medium. One variant (s), exhibited uniform turbidity which clarified rapidly after maximal growth was obtained.
