The cycloaddition of homo-1H-azepine

Journal of the Chemical Society D: Chemical Communications, 1970
Reactions of tetracyanoethylene and nitrosobenzene with 2,3-homo-1H-azepine (II) give the corresponding normal (4 + 2)π cycloadducts, and show that (II) reacts faster than its valence tautomer (I).

ChemInform Abstract: Synthetic Routes to Arylpyrido(2,3‐c)azepines and ‐(3,2‐c)azepines.

ChemInform, 1987
AbstractTreatment of (I) with (IIa) yields the phenylated product (IIIa); the chlorophenyl analogues (IIIb) and (IIIc), however, are not accessible by this procedure.

Cyclopentadienylcobalt complexes of some azepines

Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 1995
The complexes [(C5R5)Co(2-5-η-C6H6Nr′)] (R′ = C(O)OEt; R = H (6a) or Me (9a)) are prepared from N-ethoxycarbonyl azepine and [(C5R5)Co(C2H4)2] (R = H 5 or Me (8)). On treatment with methoxide,ion, 6a is partially converted into N-methoxycarbonyl derivative 6b. Complex 9a can be reduced with LiAlH4 to give the N-methyl derivative 9b.

Das System Azepin‐Benzolimin

Chemische Berichte, 1973

Synthesis of 1-bromo-2-ethoxycyclopent[d]azepine. A route to cyclopent[d]azepine

Journal of the Chemical Society, Chemical Communications, 1980
The first derivative, 1-bromo-2-ethoxycyclopent[d]azepine, of the as yet unknown cyclopent[d]-azepine can be synthesized by dehydrogenation of 4,5,7,8-tetrahydro-2-ethoxycyclopent[d]azepine.
