A Roadmap to 30.5% Efficiency in All‐Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells Using 3D Finite Element Analysis of CuSCN@GeSe Core‐Shell and CeO2 Electron Transport Layer Optimization

open access: yesSolar RRL, Volume 10, Issue 9, 13 May 2026.
This work demonstrates a roadmap to 30.5% efficiency in all‐perovskite tandem solar cells through 3D finite element analysis. By integrating a novel CuSCN@GeSe core–shell nanostructure and optimizing the CeO2 electron transport layer, the design achieves reduced recombination.

Solvent‐Controlled Electrochemical Cyclization of Areneazo‐2‐(2‐nitro)propanes to Benzo[c]cinnolines

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, Volume 368, Issue 9, 5 May 2026.
Solvent‐mediated redox pathway control enables the first electrochemical cyclization of areneazo‐2‐(2‐nitro)propanes to benzo[c]cinnolines. Mixed solvent systems containing hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP) and MeOH additives widen the redox potential gaps and stabilize diazonium intermediates via hydrogen bonding, favoring oxidative intramolecular ...

Catch, Release, Repeat: Reversible Protein Capture in Electric Fields Using Antifouling Polymer Brushes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 9, 5 May 2026.
ABSTRACT Capturing proteins is easy since their amphiphilic nature allows them to bind to almost any surface. Because of this, releasing them is challenging since various interactions need to be considered for this. We present a simple method to reversibly adsorb proteins on stabilized electrodes.

Dynamic Plasmonic Metasurface Regulated by Drude‐Like Active Spacers

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 5, May 2026.
Optical properties of mirror‐coupled plasmonic metasurface are dynamically modulated by controlling intrinsic properties and geometric parameters of Drude‐like active spacers made of transparent conducting oxides and phase‐change materials. The resonance property of a hybrid plasmonic metasurface can be actively regulated by manipulating the ...
