Treatment of azo dyes in industrial wastewater using microbial fuel cells [PDF]
Due to the extensive use of xenobiotic azo dyes in the colour industry and their proven mutagenic and cytotoxic nature, their treatment prior to discharge is essential and is legally enforced.

A simple and efficient method for determining the stability of optical vortices via Fourier transform using a conventional spherical lens is presented. The theoretical and experimental results demonstrate a practical approach to directly and unambiguously measure the magnitude and sign of the topological charge of a beam without altering an ...

Biodecolorization of azo dyes by microorganisms isolated from Serdang and Merambong soils [PDF]
Several local microorganisms were isolated and screened for their capabilities to decolorize selected azo dyes. Two isolates, NHG and NH2 have shown their capabilities to decolorize azo dyes i.e. Reactive Black 5 (RB5, diazo) and Metanil Yellow (monoazo),

Tandem Takeoff: Powering Tomorrow with Industrial‐Grade Perovskite/Silicon Solar Cells
Perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells have recently achieved certified power conversion efficiencies of 34.85%, far exceeding the Shockley‐Queisser limit for single‐junction silicon and standalone perovskite cells. This review highlights the latest advances in the design, integration, and optimization of perovskite top cells for monolithic tandem ...

Experimental and Computational Raman and SERS Study of Acid Blue 113
The vibrational features of AB‐113 were investigated through experimental and theoretical analyses. SERS spectra showed enhanced responses under resonant excitation, especially at 532 and 632.8 nm, enabling identification limits as low as 1.0 × 10−8 mol L−1.

Diazirines are three‐membered, nitrogen‐containing heterocycles that decompose under light or heat to generate carbenes. For the past two decades, they have served mainly as minimally invasive tags in photoaffinity labeling (PAL). More recently, their value as versatile carbene precursors has been recognized.

ABSTRACT High‐resolution, biocompatible scaffolds are essential for reproducible tissue engineering and remain challenging to fabricate with vat photopolymerization due to cure‐depth control and limited bioactivity of neat polymers. This work investigated the mechanical, surface, and biological properties, as well as the high‐resolution 3D printability,
