Thiophenderivate als vielseitige Vorstufen für die Synthese von (Hetero)aromaten und Naturstoffen

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 5, 28 January 2026.

Nonlinear Evolution Equations of the Soliton Type: Old and New Results

open access: yesProceedings
An overview on the study of nonlinear evolution equations of soliton type is provided. In addition, 5th-order nonlinear evolution equations are shown to be connected to the Caudrey–Dodd–Gibbon–Sawada–Kotera (CDGSK) equation via Bäcklund transformations ...

Nonlocal symmetries of Frobenius sinh-Gordon systems

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2018
In this paper, we consider a weakly coupled sinh-Gordon equation which takes values in a commutative Frobenius subalgebra of gl(2,C) $gl(2,\mathbb {C})$.

Nonlinear evolution equations: Bäcklund transformations and recursion operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
The important role played by Bäcklund transformations in investigating nonlinear evolution equations is well known (see, for ...

Hodge-Frobenius equations and the Hodge–Bäcklund transformation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Linear and nonlinear Hodge-like systems for 1-forms are studied with an assumption equivalent to complete integrability substituted for the requirement of closure under exterior differentiation.

Lax pairs and Bäcklund transformations for a new (3+1)-dimensional integrable equation utilizing symbolic computation

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal
This article discusses a new integrable wave equation in (3+1)-dimensions that describes shallow water waves. The auto–Bäcklund and Cole-Hopf transformations are constructed by means of the homogeneous balance approach, which results in numerous new ...

On the One Class of Hyperbolic Systems

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2006
The classification problem is solved for some type of nonlinear lattices. These lattices are closely related to the lattices of Ruijsenaars-Toda type and define the Bäcklund auto-transformations for the class of two-component hyperbolic systems.

Quantum Painlevé Equations: from Continuous to Discrete

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2008
We examine quantum extensions of the continuous Painlevé equations, expressed as systems of first-order differential equations for non-commuting objects. We focus on the Painlevé equations II, IV and V.

Momentum conserving defects in affine Toda field theories

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
Type II integrable defects with more than one degree of freedom at the defect are investigated. A condition on the form of the Lagrangian for such defects is found which ensures the existence of a conserved momentum in the presence of the defect.

Bäcklund transformations for the anti-self-dual Yang-Mills equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 1988
Beginning from any given (local) solution of the GL(n,ℂ) anti-self-dual Yang-Mills (ASDYM) equations on Minkowski space, a simple technique for the generation of large classes of solutions (perhaps in some sense all) is given.
