Hypomethylation and expression of BEX2, IGSF4 and TIMP3 indicative of MLL translocations in Acute Myeloid Leukemia [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Background Translocations of the Mixed Lineage Leukemia (MLL) gene occur in a subset (5%) of acute myeloid leukemias (AML), and in mixed phenotype acute leukemias in infancy - a disease with extremely poor prognosis.

Bortezomib‐based chemotherapy in Chinese pediatric patients with relapsed/refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia: A single‐center retrospective study

open access: yesPediatric Investigation, EarlyView.
Bortezomib‐based chemotherapy achieved an 88.9% remission rate in Chinese pediatric patients with relapsed/refractory B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, enabling 62.5% of responders to bridge to transplantation, while T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia showed no response.

Your dilemma, my identity: Unusual immunogenetic profiles of pediatric B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia

open access: yesIndian Journal of Pathology and Microbiology, 2014
B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) is characterized by CD19 expression, which is one of the most important prerequisites, along with expression of CD10, CD22 and/or CD79a.

Cross‐Platform Comparison of Chemoproteomics Workflows: Orbitrap‐TMT Versus timsTOF‐diaPASEF

open access: yesPROTEOMICS, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Chemoproteomics aims to achieve precise and comprehensive quantification of protein–small molecule interactions, yet methodological comparisons across quantitative proteomics workflows remain scarce. Here, we systematically benchmark tandem mass tag data‐dependent acquisition (TMT‐DDA) on Orbitrap Exploris/Eclipse instruments against label ...

Peptide‐directed nanovehicles enabling tumor‐selective ROS amplification and antitumor immunity

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
Cancer cells are vulnerable to oxidative stress, yet exploit immune tolerance to escape destruction. In contrast, their metabolic profile is markedly altered to support rapid proliferation, accompanied by elevated production of reactive oxygen species (ROS).

Nanobodies as next‐generation targeting platforms: From discovery technologies to translational biomedicine

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
Nanobodies, derived from the variable domains of camelid heavy‐chain‐only antibodies, have emerged as transformative biomedical tools due to their nanoscale size, exceptional stability, and unique capacity to recognize cryptic epitopes. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the field, outlining the structural and biochemical features of ...

Funkcionális genomikai rendszer kidolgozása gyermekkori acut lymphoid leukémiában DNS és cDNS chip analízis valamint immunfenotipizálás alapján = Development of a novel functional genomic system in pediatric acute lymphoid leukemia based on DNA and cDNA chip analysis as well as immunophenotyping [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Olyan molekuláris markerek genomikai identifikálását tűztük ki célul, melyek a gyermekkori akut limfoid leukémia (ALL) patomechanizmusának felderítésében, osztályzásának pontosításában és a kezelésre adott válasz predikciójában szerepet játszhatnak.

Nanomedicine applications in lymphoma: Advancing precision diagnostics, targeted therapeutics, and prospective developments

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
Lymphoma is a group of blood cancers that can appear in lymph nodes, blood, bone marrow, spleen, liver, or the central nervous system, which makes drug delivery and disease monitoring difficult. This review summarizes how nanomedicine technologies may improve targeted treatment and imaging, while carefully separating approved or guideline‐supported ...

Imaging of Abdominal Complications in Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia

open access: yesJournal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) is the most common paediatric malignancy and remains one of the most common causes of cancer‐related death in children and adolescents. Five‐year overall survival rates now exceed 90% with current multidrug chemotherapeutic regimens. This improvement, coupled with the toxicity of chemotherapy, has led to the
