Human Leukocyte Elastase Triggered Nanoparticles for Targeted Antimicrobial Delivery and Oral Microbial Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
This study explores enzyme‐responsive nanoparticles for targeted antimicrobial release in inflamed oral environments. Nanoparticles formed by complexing peptides and chlorhexidine respond to human leukocyte elastase and release chlorhexidine selectively. P7 (ECAAPVCE)‐based formulations show optimal properties and stability, with antimicrobial activity

Sparse Induced Subgraphs in P 6 -free Graphs

open access: yesACM Transactions on Algorithms
We prove that a number of computational problems that ask for the largest sparse induced subgraph satisfying some property definable in \(\mathsf{CMSO}_{2}\) logic, most notably Feedback Vertex Set , are ...

Trabecular bone ontogeny of the human talus

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Studies of trabecular ontogeny may provide insight into the factors that drive healthy bone development. There is a growing understanding of how the juvenile skeleton responds to these influences; however, gaps in our knowledge remain. This study aims to identify ontogenetic trabecular patterns and regional changes during development within ...

Genetic analysis for yield and its components in okra (Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench) [PDF]

open access: yesSongklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology (SJST), 2012
Combining ability variances and effects of yield and its components in okra (Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench)were studied through half diallel analysis of 45 F1 hybrids derived by crossing 10 nearly homozygous germplasm lines namelyP1(IC282248), P2 ...

Evaluation of a Product Intended for Microbiological Control in Animal Production, and Its Combination With Halquinol

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Activo Liquid and Halquinol inhibit Salmonella and Escherichia coli in culture media. Activo Liquid exhibits bactericidal action, whereas HA is bacteriostatic, and their combination results in positive or indifferent interactions. This combination effectively inhibits E. coli throughout digestion simulation, thus reducing the required concentrations of

Coherence‐Gated Wrapped‐Phase InSAR With Matrix‐Based Uncertainty Diagnostics for Burial‐Mound Hotspot Ranking (Sicily, Italy)

open access: yesArchaeological Prospection, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Burial mounds are key elements of Mediterranean funerary landscapes, but in intensively cultivated coastal plains their low‐relief expression is easily obscured by ploughing, levelling and rapidly changing surface conditions, making single‐date observations unreliable.

Isothermal section of the Gd-Mn-Ge ternary system at 1070 K

open access: yesФізика і хімія твердого тіла
Interaction between the components in the Gd–Mn–Ge ternary system was studied at 1070 K over the whole concentration range using scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis and X-ray diffractometry.

Dual Action of Dipyridamole in Experimental Rheumatoid Arthritis: Suppression of Joint Inflammation and Upregulation of Muscle Anabolism via Adenosine and AMPK Pathways

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective Rheumatoid sarcopenia, characterized by the progressive loss of skeletal muscle mass and function, is a frequent comorbidity in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), linked to prolonged, severe systemic inflammation. Purinergic signaling (adenosine, AMP, and ATP) plays a crucial role in inflammation, myogenesis, and muscle hypertrophy.

Structural, mechanical, electronic, and optoelectronic properties of wide-band-gap hydride perovskite BaNaH3Pt from hybrid density functional theory

open access: yesNext Materials
Lead-free wide-band-gap perovskites are actively sought for ultraviolet (UV) and visible optoelectronics with improved environmental compatibility. Here, we assess the structural stability and optoelectronic potential of the hydride perovskite BaNaH3Pt ...
