This study addresses silicon anode degradation using an engineered nSi/Gr/C dual‐carbon matrix. By restricting SEI infiltration, the architecture redirects silicon agglomeration into a beneficial structural self‐adaptive activation. During cycling, silicon nanoparticles self‐organize into a resilient nanoporous sponge. This dynamic network accommodates

Our coaxial electrospinning system is capable of incorporating decellularized myocardial extracellular matrix in a core‐sheath configuration, creating nanofibrous scaffolds. These scaffolds, in turn, support the maintenance of functional cardiomyocytes adhered to the surface of these bioactive scaffolds.

Atomic Layer Deposition Processes: Versatile Platforms for Engineering ZnO‐Chitosan Biointerfaces
Vapour phase metalation (VPM), multiplied pulsed vapour phase infiltration (MPI), and O2 plasma‑enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALD) tailor Zn–chitosan (Zn‑CS) films. PEALD improves wettability and biocompatibility. MPI enhances semiconductor behavior. Antiseptic selectivity: VPM → E. coli; MPI → H. pylori.

Surface‐host dialogue at the implant interface governs biological fate and osseointegration. Surface physicochemical properties of titanium (Ti) dental implants, including microgrooves, nanopatterns, nanotopography, roughness, and wettability, modulate the initial adsorption of proteins and the formation of a dynamic biointerface.

Instrumental textural properties of plain helva kept at different temperatures [PDF]
Traditional plain helva samples were stored at different temperatures (4 +/- 1 degrees C, 22 +/- 2 degrees C or 35 +/- 1 degrees C) and their textural properties were determined by conducting texture profile analysis.

On the use of changes in dihedral angle to decode late-stage textural evolution in cumulates [PDF]
The melt-filled pore structure in the final stages of solidification of cumulates must lie somewhere between the two end-members of impingement (in which pore topology is controlled entirely by the juxtaposition of growth faces of adjacent grains) and ...

An Investigation of Textural Activity and Its Hierarchical Structures in Selected Works by Krzysztof Penderecki [PDF]
This study focuses on temporal aspects of the music of Krzysztof Penderecki and deals with these on the level of textural activity. The analyses are based on a referential idea called a "discrete sound event," defined as an occurrence of a sound or ...
