Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

The study presents biodegradable and recyclable mixed‐matrix membranes (MMMs), hydrogels, and cryogels using luminescent nanoscale metal‐organic frameworks (nMOFs) and biopolymers. These bio‐nMOF‐MMMs combine europium‐based nMOFs as probes for the status of the materials with the biopolymers agar and gelatine and present alternatives to conventional ...

Mean value methods for solving the heat equation backwards in time [PDF]
We investigate an iterative mean value method for the inverse (and highly ill-posed) problem of solving the heat equation backwards in time. Semi-group theory is used to rewrite the solution of the inverse problem as the solution of a fixed point equation for an affine operator, with linear part satisfying special functional analytical properties.

For the first time, a highly sensitive electrochemical biosensor based on SiO2‐based hairy particles with a grafted PDMAEMA polymer brush containing a quantifiable and large amount of immobilized Laccase is reported. The fabricated biosensor exhibits a sensitivity of 0.14 A·m⁻¹, a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.1 µm, and a detection range of 0.3–750 µm,

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

A nonhomogeneous backward heat problem: Regularization and error estimates
We consider the problem of finding the initial temperature, from the final temperature, in the nonhomogeneous heat equation $$displaylines{ u_t-u_{xx}= f(x,t),quad (x,t)in (0,pi)imes (0,T),\ u(0,t)= u(pi,t)= 0, quad (x,t) in (0,pi)imes(0,T ...

Improvement of the second- and third-moment modeling of turbulence: A study of Reynolds-stress closure model [PDF]
Four parts of the Reynolds-stress closure modeling are reported: (1) improvement of the k and epsilon equaitons; (2) development of the third-moment transport equation; (3) formulation of the diffusion coefficient of the momentum equation by using the ...

Wave Approximation of Backward Heat Equation with Ricci Flow
In this paper, we consider solutions of the backward heat equation with Ricci flow on manifolds as a type of infinite dimensional limit of solutions of a wave equation on a larger manifold with an analysis of wavefront set. Specifically, the projection of the solution of the wave equation $ \left(\frac{2t}{N} \cdot \frac{\partial^{2}}{\partial t^{2}} +

The dielectric properties of clays are studied on the level of individual monolayers and functional double stacks. The material breakdown characteristics and charge storage performance are analyzed. For illustration, a defined charge pattern representing a cuneiform character is produced, written into a microscopic clay tile, referencing the origins of
