Genetic mapping of QTLs for resistance to bacterial leaf streak in hexaploid wheat
Abstract Bacterial leaf streak (BLS), caused by Xanthomonas translucenspv. undulosa (Xtu) poses a significant threat to global wheat production. High levels of BLS resistance are rare in hexaploid wheat. Here, we screened 101 diverse wheat genotypes under greenhouse conditions to identify new sources of BLS resistance.

Dissection of Resistance Loci to Bacterial Leaf Streak in Rice by a Genome-Wide Association Study
Rice (Oryza sativa L.) bacterial leaf streak (BLS) caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzicola (Xoc) seriously threatens rice production. This disease can be controlled by cultivating lines with appropriate resistance genes.
